How can I shut down ITRS Analytics services for hardware or server maintenance?
You may need to shut down ITRS Analytics before scheduled hardware or server maintenance. The procedure depends on how ITRS Analytics is deployed.
Bring-your-own cluster Copied
If ITRS Analytics runs on your organization’s existing Kubernetes infrastructure, work with your Kubernetes or platform team. They may have internal procedures to drain workloads to other nodes during the maintenance window.
Embedded Cluster Copied
Single-node cluster Copied
No additional shutdown procedure is required. The Embedded Cluster runs as a systemd service, for example:
systemctl status k0scontroller.service
You can reboot the server. When it comes back online, the Embedded Cluster should start automatically. Then open the ITRS Analytics Web Console and check Ingestion > Workloads to confirm all pods are running.
Multi-node cluster Copied
The procedure depends on cluster size and how many nodes require maintenance. Contact ITRS Support in advance with your planned maintenance so ITRS can recommend an appropriate approach.
